  • A subscription-based company in the boating industry was collecting large volumes of data - from telematics, app usage, and customer support—but lacked a clear strategy to leverage it. With limited visibility into their data quality, readiness, or business potential, leadership was unsure how to prioritize AI investments or translate existing data into revenue-driving opportunities.

  • To address this, the company engaged SMH Analytics to deliver a focused 4-week AI Readiness Assessment. The program began with a comprehensive audit of internal data sources and infrastructure, followed by an evaluation of analytics capabilities and organizational maturity.   • By the end of the engagement, the company received a strategic roadmap with 2–3 high-priority AI use cases, such as behavioral risk scoring and predictive analytics, along with clear next steps for pilot implementation. The process delivered clarity on where the company stood in terms of data maturity and provided a practical path forward. CPG AI Predictive Forecasting Across Products and Sales

  • This company wanted to discover what AI could extract in terms of claims, benefits, and ingredients across women’s shaving and skin care products to highlight the best combination of claims that would lead to innovations and more sales.

  • Using NLP, Generative AI, and AI techniques, we extracted ingredients, benefits, and claims for all women's shaving and skin care products via Amazon. We built ML models to develop categories and broke them into a handful of themes. These ML and AI models highlighted the most successful combinations which would translate to the best sales.

  • We built an MVP software tool with predictive models to pick the best claim combinations to drive sales.

Tenant Predictive Model

  • A global commercial real estate company wanted to reduce the amount of yearly turnover in their office tenants’ business. At the time, the company had 165,000 leases. A large turnover was costing the company millions of dollars a year. 

  • The company wanted to proactively approach tenants before they left their lease. We built ML models using multiple data sets.

  • We built an AI and web-based MVP application for client teams that allowed them to better understand when tenants would most likely renew or exit the space.

  • Hedge Fund investors search 1000s of investment opportunities each year.  It is a long and very expensive process to make only 1-5 investments a year. Investors were looking to reduce due diligence costs and get to faster decision-making.

  • We developed an AI platform comprised of buyers and sellers where customers used the AltX platform as a workflow tool so they could quickly evaluate funds for a more efficient decision-making process.

Predicting the Future Cities of the World

  • One of the world’s largest real estate investors wanted an edge and more investment conviction when analyzing global up-and-coming cities. They wanted to use AI to predict emerging cities to help drive their investment thesis in commercial real estate.

  • We developed ML models to integrate internal and external real estate data,  cap rates, leases,  income, costs, returns, and economic and demographic data to see how we could construct a “Future Cities” web-based analytics platform. 

  • We built a web-based AI MVP with over 1800 cities that included multi-level attributes of each city, and predictive models inside a software solution.

AI Product Development Tool

  • This company's product innovation outcomes had been suboptimal at a 10% success rate and they wanted to increase the success rate of their innovation and new products.

  • We developed AI/ML models using internal and external data sets to build a comprehensive real-time database of 500k products that included attributes and ingredients. This allowed the innovation and marketing teams to build new product combinations and forecast outcomes for each distribution channel.

  • We built a user-friendly UI/UX AI predictive analytics software tool. Users put their desired attributes and ingredients into the platform to build new products and then compare them against those in the existing marketplace. The led to a more data-driven approach to innovation and product development.
